Spring 2025 Recruitment

Please fill out the interest form to ensure you're on our radar! Applications will be released at the beginning of the semester. Just a reminder, attendance at one information session will be required to apply. The recruitment timeline will be posted on our Instagram.

  • When and how do I apply?
    We recruit during both the fall and spring semesters. Applications will open late August for the fall semester and late January for the spring semester. Our application timeline is listed above and will also be posted the first week of the semester on our Instagram.
  • What is the time commitment for UMBRA?
    We expect all members to commit around 2 to 3 hours per week.
  • Do you have to be a business major to apply to UMBRA?
    No, UMBRA is open to ALL majors! Our current members come from a variety of different majors, such as liberal arts or STEM.
  • Do I need any prior experience in order to apply?
    We don’t expect applicants to have any consulting experience prior to applying. Instead, we are looking for hardworking and motivated individuals willing to grow and learn within UMBRA.
  • How many new members does UMBRA accept each semester?
    The number of new members differs per recruiting cycle, as this is dependent on multiple factors, so we don’t have a predetermined number of UMBabies we take. Historically, we accept anywhere from 7-12 UMBabies per recruiting cycle.
